You know, these would be absolutely *perfect* for use with Dance Dance Revolution (or Stepmania, actually), but of course I'd need an MP3 for that. ;-)

That Rolling Stones / Dr. Dre number sounds great... I'd love to see the doc do a full album of these.

Does anyone remember Will To Power's horrendous medley of "Baby, I Love Your Way / Freebird"? Not campy, not creative - just painful. "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" and "Keeping The Faith" are two songs that simply deserve to die and go to hell. Maybe this is an empty new trend - I know this "glam" band from California, working so hard to look like '74 Mott and they just covered Huey Lewis. Retch retro - ugly - and the royalties going to bloated buggers who need to diet anyway.

Interesting list, Robert.
I have 9 of the songs on your list, but only two are the same versions on your list (The Police & DJ Sammy). I have a few remixes of the kind you refer to myself, of other songs by various other artists.
