Testament - "More Than Meets the Eye"
Finally the new Testament video is here. It seems like forever since I read about the video being shot. The song is "More Than Meets the Eye" (and no, it has nothing to do with the Transformers). It comes from their latest album Formation of Damnation, which just happens to be one of the best metal albums to come out this year. The video is pretty good, although I wish they hadn't added those sound effects.
Joe Thrasher - "Speed Kills"
This video is rather cheesy and cheap, but the song rocks fairly well. Joe Thrasher is named for the fact that they are three "average 'Joes' gone metal-thrashing mad!" The song is straight up thrash with a voice that is slightly reminiscent of Accept. Check out the song, you can skip the video, but you may find yourself liking the musical content.
Joe Thrasher - "Folsom Prison Blues"
Even metal heads bow down and pay respect to the Man in Black. Although, I will admit that the thought of a metal take on Johnny Cash is a pretty scary proposition. Still, this Joe Thrasher cover of the Cash classic is not half bad, so long as you like metal and are willing to give it a shot.
