This week I continue compiling videos and various musical related tidbits for your viewing pleasure. Some will be brand spanking new, while others will just be things I like. I am not great with timeliness, but I hope you've been enjoying these video collections.
Metallica's New Single - "The Day That Never Comes"
Interesting. They definitely sound better than they did on St. Anger. Although, I really wish that the lead single was a little harder hitting, that is what we (I) want from Metallica. I want something that truly demonstrates the energy and power they used to possess. Still, the song is catchy, the guitars sound nice, and Hetfield's vocals are decent. I will hold final judgment for when Death Magnetic arrives next month. Now, before you stop listening to the track, it does start to get a little heavier past the four minute mark.

Behemoth - Live Album Coming
Polish act Behemoth are readying the release of their first live album. It is set to be released in October. I recently began listening to them, and I am really liking what I hear. I have also seen them live and their show is intense, hopefully the intensity I witnessed there will carry over to this DVD release, entitled At the Arena ov Aion – Live Apostasy.
