Division rivals Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens square off Monday Night (September 29th) at 8:30 PM on ESPN. The Pittsburgh Steelers, who are 2-1, are coming off big loss against their state competitors, the Philadelphia Eagles. It was a tough game, as quarterback Big Ben was sacked six times in the second quarter alone. The Baltimore Ravens have only played two games and won both. The third against Houston was cancelled due to the hurricane. It has been moved to a later date.
But the game is going to get much exciting (if that’s possible) as Jimmy Wayne is performing the National Anthem live to kick things off. Then his new song, “I Will” and his number one hit, “Do You Believe Me Now,” which dominates airwaves across the nation, will be performed at half time at Heinz Field — the Steelers' stadium where the Black and Gold Terrible Towels wave free. “Don You Believe Me Now” has stayed number one for three weeks, as it rightfully should. It is the hottest thing in country music right now.
The next day, Jimmy — who was recently voted “Hot Guy of the Month” by People magazine — will head back the country capital of the world (Nashville, of course) to shoot a brand-new ultra cool music video for his ever popular new song, “I Will,” which will hit the airwaves October 6.
Jimmy’s new CD came out last August and has done extremely well on the charts. The CD includes both “Do You Believe Me Now” and “I Will” as well as some other great songs like “Where You’re Going.”
Whoever is in one of those 65,050, you guys are in for a great show. I wish I was with you. Jimmy Wayne is a great performer and Heinz Field is perhaps the coolest place on earth. There’s only one thing left to say: Here we go, Steelers!
