A simple look in the dictionary reveals that the word “resonate” means a number of things. Here’s one definition that applies to this article. “Resonate” means “to echo, or cause something to echo.” An echo is a reflection of an original source bouncing back TO the original source. And so, since we are mirroring each other, and interconnected to each other, a second definition naturally follows: “to have an effect or impact beyond that which is immediately apparent.”
Believe it or not, I began this article to promote "The Climb," Miley Cyrus’ hit song. This song has rescued me from a desperate situation. I was frustrated and exhausted from worrying about things in my life, and I was becoming ill because of it. And then, I heard Miley’s song. It was the exact message I needed — delivered across the airwaves — directly from her to me. Even the lyrics are a powerful combination of words.
Because of what her song did for me, I’m putting in an early plug for "The Climb" to be song of the year. Hope, courage, victory – that’s the message of the song. I hope you'll share it with your friends.
