Good news metal fans....
First, head on over to Megadeth.com and download the new Megadeth song, "Kick The Chair." A rockin' new tune and the first time Dave Mustaine and Chris Poland have played together on record since the mid '80's. It kicks ass, quite actually. It's from the forthcoming new Megadeth, Blackmail The Universe, which has been promised for summer. Don't forget that the remastered/remixed Megadeth catalogue is coming as well.
Secondly, if you purchased St. Anger, you got a code for access to the "Metallica Vault." There were three full shows offered at the time of release with a promise for more stuff later. Well, later is now. Four new shows are now available, Cape Girardeau, MO Arena Building 5/24/86; Gothenburg SE Frolundaaborg 2/13/87; London UK Hammersmith Odeon 9/21/86 and Los Angeles CA Great Western Forum 12/21/96. So if you have an access code, hop over to The Metallica Vault and they are yours. That's seven shows available now, if you'r counting.
Another cool thing Metallica's been doing is making every show on their 2004 tour available for purchase at Live Metallica. A pretty cool idea as well.
I know I've probably broken one of the "old-school" metal rules when I combined both Megadeth & Metallica into one post, but oh well.

Nah, but mentioning the dire St. Anger might get you some schtick.

It's true, St Anger is a piece of crap by Metallica standards... but the Metallica Vault is a very cool resource. Plus, St Anger came with a DVD of them performing the whole (horrible) disc live, so the value is unquestionably there.
