CMU reports the following rather upsetting news:
The Spice Girls greatest hits album is on hold - reportedly because the ever sensible Melanie C refused to take part in the promotional reunion gig that Virgin Records insisted went with the best of release.The Sun quotes a source as saying: "Mel refuses to join the girls on stage because she still dreams of making it big by herself. But she's on her smallest tour ever - and that's struggling. She told the others she was happy to do TV interviews to plug the album but that was it. The money men at Virgin said a big concert was the only way to guarantee massive publicity, so they pulled plans for a release in the first week of November. They have agreed to release the greatest hits in 2006. It's billed as ten years of the Spice Girls since they released their first single Wannabe in 1996."

Well well, you know what? Melanie C you WERE my FAVOURITE Spice Girl! your so great but if you won't reunite with them then you have some nerve. Without them you would be NOTHING. you owe EVERYTHING to those 4 other girls. Face it, you suck Solo AND they suck solo but when ALL 5 of you are together something magical happens and if you are too cocky and arrogant to realize that well then that sucks to be you. Your career will fizzle out like theres no tommorow, FACE it. You are NOTHING without them. remember the song in the Spice World movie? "we need 5 for the Power of Spice" yeah, so true. Please get over urself and reunite with them!

well spice girls are still my fav. band it's hard to let go of your first band. It'd be awesome for them to unite but its ok to leave the past in the past. i'm pretty sure the US won't take the spice girls back, idk about the UK. Pursue a solo career and good luck u sure do have an amazing voice either way. butboth ways is also a challenge
