Guitarist Matthew Stubbs has released the full tracklisting and artwork for his upcoming album Medford & Main, scheduled for release March 16.
Medford & Main is the Boston-area guitarist's second record, but the first for his new label Blue Bella Records. Stubbs released his first album Soul Bender for VizzTone last year. That album got him nominated as Best Blues Act in the Boston Music Awards and the Outstanding Guitarist award from Blues Audience Magazine.
Stubbs is backed on the album by the horn section of Sax Gordon, Scott Aruda, and Tino Barker. Also joining him is drummer Chris Rivelli and bassists Marc Hickox and Wolf Ginades. Stubbs composed all 11 songs, with Gordon assisting with horn arrangements.
