Maverick may have reached a deal with Warner Music - but is Madonna still on talking terms with the major who she is both signed to as an artist, and with whom she used to share a business as a shareholder in the imprint? Rumour has it Madonna is thinking of moving over to Sanctuary. That might be simply a management move - her manager Caresse Henry is reportedly in talks to join the Sanctuary Group. But some reckon Madonna may be looking to sign a recording contract with one of Sanctuary's labels.
CMU reports this rather amusing rumour. But it would be clever of the music group to expand their horizons from the hard rock/heavy metal and you could do a lot worse than grab a high profile act like Madonna.
