Madge & Evora?

This bit of Madge news comes from the DailyTelegraph's London Spy. As its a diary column, one could argue a decent amount of scepticism might be a good idea.

...Last Thursday, she made her way to grand-as-you-like Berkeley Square nightspot Annabel's to take in a concert by 63-year-old Cape Verdan jazz singer Cesaria Evora....

Further investigation suggests that the Material Girl has become a big fan of Evora and is planning on doing a duet with her. "She's a big admirer of Cesaria's," adds another source. "As far as I know, nothing's been signed yet, but I think they could be singing together soon."

Evora would certainly be a decent "brand" for Madonna to associate with. She is a WFP ambassador and donates huge sums to charity every year. Says a spokesman for her record label, BMG: "A collaboration wouldn't surprise me. Cesaria has an immense global following."
