CMU reports:
Hip hop artist Loon has been formally charged with 'assault with a deadly
weapon' following that incident at the LA branch of the House of Blues earlier this month. As previously reported, Loon and two associates were arrested after a security guard was stabbed. Yesterday it was confirmed all three men now face the assault charges, with additional charges for 'use of a deadly weapon' and 'use of a deadly weapon with intent to cause great bodily injury', both of which could add more prison time to the original count if one or more of the men are found guilty.
Initial reports said the incident happened outside the LA club which was
hosting a private party for the Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz - the suggestion being Loon or one of his associates made the attack after being refused admission to the party. However more recent reports say the assault took place inside the club as the three men tried to access the stage area.
Either way, Loon has entered a plea of not guilty and is due back in court
on 15 Apr.
