Live 8 to receive Live TV and radio coverage. MTV and VH1 announced that they will devote eight hours of live coverage to the Live 8 event on July 2. Additionally, Premiere Radio Networks will also be covering the event, with two feeds for pop and rock stations. Premiere Radio Networks coverage will be for terrestrial radio and will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. XM radio will have exclusive satellite coverage of the event on two of its channels.
