Lisa Marie Presley has announced that she has married Michael Lockwood, her guitarist on Now What which she released in 2005. The couple were married at the end of January in Japan. Lisa Marie was given away by her mother Priscilla Presley.
NBC’s internet partnerships extend reach of Olympic coverage
NBC has entered into alliances with Apple, Google, ESPN.com, and TV Guide among others to extend the reach of its Olympic coverage. They have created the official online home of the Olympics, NBCOlympics.com which provides television listings and news updates among other features.
My Chemical Romance design Sport Jacket
My Chemical Romance has joined with Hurley lending its name and image to a Sport Jacket designed by front man Gerard Way. The jacket will be limited edition and has a black exterior and red satin liner. The jacket will only be available through Hurley and SmartPunk. Only 600 jackets are being made. The project is a fundraiser in conjunction with Broading for Breast Cancer.
Juno Award nominations announced.
The Juno Award nominations were announced with Michael Buble, Nickelback and Diana Krall leading the pack. Other bands with multiple nominations include Broken Social Scene, The Arcade Fire and Bedouin Soundclash. Dubbed “Canada’s Music Awards” the awards will be given out on April 2nd in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
