The first LIVE AID was steeped in deep sincerity. It has been my impression that this time around, 20 years later, LIVE8 is steeped in commerciality, not a great speciality for valued immunity in any community.
I didn't even know until yesterday what LIVE8 referred to - an appeal to the G8 (a group of people who individually think of music as the rifling of cash money and the slam of a money till).
I figured this was another round of fighting against poverty in Eithiopia. Turns out it's more of a cornucopia of dystopia. A world of dischord from people who want to be a part rather than be apart. Qualification? - Must have been on a US musical chart.
Just an opportunity here to air your grievences and or stunned beautification of the event, under the world tent, emotions spent, music for rent.
And what about the floyd? Absurd or hot like Altoid?
