Last Day Parade provides two songs on this split Leaf, Fire, Rain and Hit the Ground (running). While Leaf, Fire, Rain is a pretty decent (even possibly above average) hardcore song Hit the Ground (running) isn’t. It’s one of those sensitive songs from tough-guys that tend to lose interest.
Lauren Hospital offers the song Dark Times are Coming, Volume One on side B. Honestly this is a great song. Though the vocals might seem somewhat lacking (seems a bit off key sometimes) it doesn’t detract from the overall sound too much. Confident solos and brazen thrashing is what makes this song great.
