Welcome to the '80s. The CD should have been sponsored by VH1. That's not such a bad thing. While "Body Language" has no break out songs like Fever had, it's actually a quite solid offering. I don't think the CD (available in the US in February) will translate very well here in the US; the musical styles on the CD are too varied for radio to pick up on much of anything. The CD won't win over many new fans, but will please the career fans. Here's a song by song review.
Slow: The song grows on you.It will be interesting to see if this is released as the first single in the US. The song has a perculating vibe to it.
Still Standing: Kylie sounds good in this 80's style vibe. Great vocals on this song. Reminds me of Animotion crossed with Prince.
Secret (Take You Home): Starts off like Slow then the bass kicks in. Kylie's attempt at the hip hop vibe. However, white female pop stars should not attempt to rap. Very catchy nonetheless.
Promises: This is a good piece of retro Kylie. Infectious pop at it's best.
Sweet Music: Electronica with some scratching. Deep bassline. Great chorus.
Red Bloodied Woman: Kylie does "Cry Me A River." Very un-Kylie; light r 'n' b.
Chocolate: Kylie meets Donna Lewis. Very lush.
Obsession: Straight up cookie cutter pop. A song with no personality.
I Feel For You: I don't get it. The rain intro with a jangly guitar vibe and piano, and annoying male sqwaking voice throughout the song. My least favorite song on the CD.
Someday: It's the return of Green Gartside from Scritti Politti. Excellent production on this mid-tempo trip-hop gem.
Loving Days: Klyie interprets "Frozen." Lush atmospheric ballad.
After Dark: Poppy r 'n' b tune. Catchy chorus perks up this song.

Slow is an excellent driving song. Crank up the bass and it's incredibly addictive.
