CMU has this bit of news from the world of Kid Rock:
Well, don't expect Kid Rock to donate a track to any anti-Bush compliation. Not if this story is true. Word is that the American rocker was among a party of artists and industry types who hit the town after P Diddy's 4th of July party. Said group decided to go to the cinema, and the movie of choice was Michael Moore's anti-Bush fest Fahrenheit 911. This sent Kid Rock into a frenzy. Refusing to watch the film, he ranted at hip hop mogul Russell Simmons thus: "Don't you understand, everything we got in this country, we got from fighting ... I'd rather go to the bar across the street". True to his word Kid Rock stormed off while the rest of the group went to see the film. On returning to his car Simmons found a note on his windscreen - allegedly in Kid Rock's handwriting - bearing the slogan "Vote Bush. Bush Rocks".
