Karmin Capitalize with Concert Audiences

The reviews have been positive as of late for Karmin, and not just for their cover songs on YouTube or their own “Crash Your Party” single and video. The soon-to-be-married duo of Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan has likely earned many a new fan while performing brief but nevertheless high-profile sets during various Jingle Ball concerts around the country.

The annual radio-sponsored showcase events have become fan favorites (especially younger ones) over the past decade, and this year’s lineup —which features the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Foster the People, Avril Lavigne, and Demi Lovato — is no exception.

For an up-and-coming act like Karmin, the opportunity to perform before thousands of prospective fans — as they’ve done recently in cities from Tampa to Los Angeles to New York City — is invaluable.

The New York City Jingle Ball, held on December 9 at a sold-out Madison Square Garden, was particularly auspicious: On a night that featured Lady Gaga in a much-hyped hometown performance (and a lot of press, from Billboard to MTV, installed in the arena to cover it), Karmin delivered their set from a spot in the excitable audience.

To be a part of such a buzz-worthy event can only bode well for Karmin, who are not only earning new fans with each live appearance but, also, gaining immeasurable experience on the concert stage — or even on the concert floor.
