Near the end of August, I wrote an article about José González, front man for the Swedish group Junip, who is the subject of a new documentary titled The Extraordinary Ordinary Life of Jose Gonzalez. Junip's new album Fields
simultaneously emanates focus and a laid-back approach to the music as you feel yourself begin to sway, then simmer, as the harmonized sounds fill the air. Become obsessed with listening, as I have. Junip was formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in the late '90s by José González (guitar, vocals), Elias Araya (drums) and Tobias Winterkorn (organ, moog).
