Japanese ATMs to feature game of chance. Japanese bank Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank starting next month will offer a slot machine style game on their ATM machines. The possible prizes will include a waived withdrawal fee and ¥ 1,000.

    Oddly enough, I never pay a withdrawal fee. But if I had a mobile phone, on most plans I'd have to pay for incoming calls, which I've heard you never pay for on mobile phones in Japan.

    Also, I don't know the current exchange rate, but if I recall correctly, ¥ 1,000 isn't very much money. Somewhere between ten and twenty dollars at most.
