Once again, I also regard pac as the biggest of 'em all, he had heart, soul and a mind. He could do hardcore, west coast, freestyle, gangsta, G funk, but he also had more important thangs on his mind, his and his peoples future - thats a real subject to rap about, and he had it down for all those on the streets, his peeps.
Still, I don't know if anyone is ever gonna be as big as Pac, doubt it, but can neva say for sure, but one thang is for definate, aint nobody as big as him 'till today. There's one thing I dont understand with all u guys. Pac was so big in this game, whats wrong with Ja and 50 wanting to be him? As long as they respect him, it cool. Pac would smile down on 'em, coz it shows that he got through to them niggz on the streets!! Dont we all grow up as kidz wannting to be like our heros? Is it wrong to dream that way? NO! So let all of 'em try and follow pacs steps, it only natural to want to be like a founder/legend coz that who you'll always see as your role model. On the other hand, I know you also gotta be different in this game, and Ja, 50, Em, they all have something different, their onw unique style, and thats refreshing, it keeps the game flowing. No disrespect to Pac, but if there were dozens of 'em runnin around, he alone wouldnt be so impressive any more, would he? But he is, and why? Coz everyone else is a lil different, and so that makes pac unique and here to stay. I do think Ja and 50 want to follow in Pacs footsteps, but I dont think they really go beyond that, wake up every morning acting like Pac at the breakfast table, or try to be like him 24/7. I dont think its something that intentional. I feel its more like they see him as a role modelto da game, and coz they in it now, they wanna follow him, not necessarily copy him or be him. Even if they wanna be LIKE him, they dont wanna BE him, if that makes any sense. Even they know they can't ever steal his legend. They developed as rappers listening to him, like many in the hood or on the streets did and still do today. obviously they above all will tell ya how great he was, and that there'll be no more Tupacs.
You gotta admit, if Murder INC, Aftermath and Interscope go, there'll be no more rap and hip hop on the same level as today for some time to come, with all due respect to any other artist, right?

First off, there are people here saying "50 is always saying he got shot 9 times." If you watch MTV or MuchMusic it's always the media sayin that crap, not actually fifty cent himself. Fifty has great songs on his newest album and i happen to like all of them. Back in the day (about 2 years ago) i liked Ja rule and bought his album. It was crap. I almost fell asleep to his dull beats. The only thing that kept me awake was him yelling MURDAAA.
The bottom line is who the fuck really cares. Its not gonna end like Pac and Biggie. All this drama is just interesting to read about and watch on T.V. Honestly wouldn't rap be a bit boring if no beef was around? Just like any beef after Pac and Biggie (Eminem with Christina, Ja with DMX) this beef will end and each rapper will move on, uhh i hope so.

First off, I love 50's music - it's hot, no doubt bout it. I down for 50 and I believe he had a real hard time as a kid on the streets. He has got 5 top Albums out, working on what will probably be his best yet - VVV2, and has starred in numerous Movies, including 'Fast and the Furious' which was really big! So in terms of the industry as Rapper/Actor, he is ahead of 50. That doesn't mean 50 is bad, he has simply just began his story as a worldwide rapper. I'm sure soon it'll be him doin Movies and that he definately be selling many more Albums to come. But how can yall say Ja is not a rapper coz he can sing lyrics? Dont Em sing the lyrics in his chorus? Sure he does, actually he can sing quite well, but that shit dont mean he aint no rapper, coz Em can also rap very well. It be the same wit Ja! He sings some lyrics, but on many songs he has featured artists that sing the chorus for him, coz like many others, he is much more of a rapper than a singer. If he can sing lyrics though, whats bad bout that? It only makes him more versatile, being able to sing the chorus and rap the verses! Another thang, he sang duets wit Ashanti and JLo, so what? Didn't Pac do a song wit Aaliyah? And Lil Chap, if you really is Kayne West, then you know well enough that Jay Z paid his services to RnB wen he teamed up wit Beyonce. You worked wit Alicia, right? Ja also has many harcore raps, especially some on his new album, he has some G Funk on his earlier album, 3:36, he has hip hop tracks, and he has some gangsta rap on his releases, so despite doing collaberations with Ashanti and JLo, that dont mean he aint no rapper. Coz what bout Busta and Mariah? Thats another rapper teaming up wit RnB. Yall gon tell me Pac, Hovva and Busta aint no rappers coz they did RnB collaberations? You gon tell me pac aint a rapper coz he featured K-Ci and JoJo's music on his raps? NO!
As for the street thang, you guys are probably right sayin 50 had a rougher childhood, thats clear. Even Ja himself says he hasnt had it too bad, but he did spent much of his time on the streets, and he did grow up wit no father, mother almost all the time at work, so Im sure many of yall know that kinda story from yourselves, or from guys on the street that grew up like that, and so yall should also know how hard it is. Even if they wanna be LIKE him, they dont wanna BE him, if that makes any sense. Even they know they can't ever steal his legend. They developed as rappers listening to him, like many in the hood or on the streets did and still do today. obviously they above all will tell ya how great he was, and that there'll be no more Tupacs.

First off, there are people here saying "50 is always saying he got shot 9 times." If you watch MTV or MuchMusic it's always the media sayin that crap, not actually fifty cent himself. Fifty has great songs on his newest album and i happen to like all of them. Back in the day (about 2 years ago) i liked Ja rule and bought his album. It was crap. I almost fell asleep to his dull beats. The only thing that kept me awake was him yelling MURDAAA.

As for the street thang, you guys are probably right sayin 50 had a rougher childhood, thats clear.
