iTunes Chart Watch June 15, 2009: Black Eyed Peas Top Singles and Album Charts - Page 2

Part of: iTunes Chart Watch

It was a pretty good week this week for new releases and there was a new album from Jonas Brothers,  so we'll have to see if any of this week's albums get bumped next week.  It will also be interesting to see if Taylor Swift's big win at the CMT Awards moves her album further up the charts.

Albums:

1. The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies) - Black Eyed Peas

2. Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King - Dave Matthews Band

3. The Ecstatic - Mos Def

4. Only By the Night - Kings of Leon

5. Chickenfoot - Chickenfoot

6. Relapse - Eminem

7. The Fame - Lady GaGa

8. Twilight (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) - Various Artists

9. 21st Century Breakdown - Green Day

10. Fearless - Taylor Swift

I don't know which is worse, honestly. One's shit and the other's poop.

Shinedown is fun if you go to their myspace, start one tune, and then get all the videos going at the same time.

or...you could just listen to Sonic Youth.

"One's shit and the other's poop."

The BEP album is pretty good party stuff, while Lady Gaga's been turning out some of the best pop in a long ass time. I don't mind that Katy Perry song, either, but Shinedown is just all kinds of awful.

It is sad that BEP are how many of our kids define "music." Pop music in America is atrocious, truly atrocious. If it weren't for the twang, I'd have converted to country long ago.
