IRON MAIDEN used Final Cut Pro to assemble and create the gold master for its DVD, Iron Maiden: Vision Of The Beast. Macworld UK notes that EMI, the band's label, suggested that using Macs for the preproduction of the DVD might lead to manufacturing issues, but "it all worked out fine, and now we've sold over 400,000 copies of the DVD," says Johnny B, the bands technical advisor. Iron Maiden are also using Macintosh computers for its technology infrastructure on the Dance Of Death world tour. As previously reported, Iron Maiden have confirmed that FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND will be supporting them on a large part of their upcoming Dance Of Death European Tour support starting in Frankfurt, Germany on November 4th through to Nancy, France on October 29th except in Paris and Poland. Also, on November 22nd Maiden have invited HELLOWEEN to join them. On confirming the date Maiden were told that Helloween had confirmed a Paris show the same night as part of their forthcoming headline European tour in support of their new album, Rabbit Dont Come Easy, so Maiden invited them to join them at Bercy instead. In Wroclaw, Poland, which is a mini festival, supports are EDGUY and KATT with an opener to be confirmed. Also, IRON MAIDEN's Dance Of Death has stormed the charts around the world with the following chart entries: Argentina (#3), Australia (#12), Brazil (#12), Canada (#5 - the bands highest Soundscan debut!), Finland (#1), France (#3), Greece (#1), Iceland (#1), Ireland (#6), Italy (#1), Netherlands (#11), Norway (#3), Portugal (#4), Spain (#2), Sweden (#1), U.K. (#2), USA (#18 - selling just over 40,000 units)...
