American Idol winner admits to barely being able to read or write. Fantasia Barrino went public with her illiteracy in her book Life is Not a Fairy Tale. In the book, Fantasia admits to signing contracts she couldn’t read. She is now working with a tutor in order to earn her G.E.D.
Doherty detained by British police. Pete Doherty, Babyshambles frontman, was detained by police on Saturday after a drug raid. Doherty was detained overnight in Shrewsbury and released on bail on the Sunday. Because of the detainment Babyshambles had to cancel a show at the University of East Anglia.
