Half Visconte "Was it Fear"

Sunset Alliance recording artists Half Visconte consists of a plethora of good musical elements all wrapped up into a sandpaper garment bag. Their album “Was It Fear” is a journey into their musical cerebrums, without a flashlight.

The album starts off in a very “Pedro the Lion” kind of way. The vocals on this album are clean and haunting, which makes a nice contrast to the scratchy fuzz of the guitars and bass. The drums are soothing and the overall package is disturbingly serene.

Overall, this disc is packed full of rock and roll and indie goodness. If you are a fan of Pedro the Lion, Unwed Sailor, Jane’s Addiction or Primus you will be very in tune with what this album is offering.

Lyrics-A
Objectionable Content-B (no blue language was found on this disc, the songs themselves were a bit depressing and had no real charge to them.)
Overall Album-A- (A wonderful delve into Indie rock. If handled properly, this band could definitely find it’s way onto a major label and some SERIOUS radio play.)

This album as well as Half Visconte's s/t album is available through Lumberjack Distribution.
