  I as well went to the show on Sept. 3rd. I was one of the members of the crowd to be right down front and it was my first Green Day experience :) It was an amazing show. Unlike the majority of the crowd at Gillette... I missed him mooning the audience due to crowd surfers and such things but it was all good. I was so excited that they played ARE WE THE WAITING. It's my favorite song of American Idiot and I didn't think they'd play it cause it's such a slow song... so yea! Rock On!!!

  I went to the Gillette Stadium concert last week! It was just about the best thing EVER!!!! i was supposed to meet them through my friend's dad, a police sargeant who was guarding the stage, at the Patriots kick off thing, but they left too early!!!! I WAS PISSED!!!! I did get to talk to Mike Dirnt before the show tho so HAHAHA TO ALL OF YOU!!! Anyway, the concert kicked @$$ and i want to be back there. Green Day haters suck! I have been a fan for about 6 years, and Billie Joe rocks!

  I'm so jelous of this person who wasn't a proper fan before they went, im a huge fan and i haven't gone to any recently :( I have their entire back catalogue and live stuff so not fair, ahh well least they keeping up everythin they doin

  thank god someone thought their show was good. the new haven register in CT ran a very sloppy review about the hartford show. it said billie joe talked too much and that it was pretty bad. so now, us lucky CT fans will probably never get them here again.

  Everybody in Mass knows how much Conn. sucks. Conn. gave Green Day sloppy reviews because Billie was talkin' too much? My God you mean he talks and sings? Sorry, the Gillette show was the "BEST" show I have ever seen, ever! All that talkin' connects you to the singer and the band, it makes you feel like part of the show. I would boycott Conn. altogether if I didn't have to go through it to get to NYC. Green Day should dump Hartford and add another show in Mass. where his voice is appreciated.

  i went to the green day concert with my 15 year old daughter in hartford conn. let me tell you, it was a kick ass concert. they put on a great show no matter what the critics say. i would see them again with my daughter because she really is in love with the band. keep rockin green day!!!!

  Hey! Green Day is the best @#!?*% band in the world! I have not been to any of their concerts yet but I will be once they come to Pennsylvania again. I have their American Idiot CD and I plan on buying their other ones too. Billie Joe ROCKS! I am 13 and plan on going to as many concerts as I can.

  I went to the Hartford show. My friend wanted to go cuz she looooves them, and i figured "they're good, ill go with her". so we bought tickets in may. well, i had them in my room all summer and about 2 weeks before i moved up to school, i put them in my purse. when i got up to school, the tix were gone! so the day before the show, i was able to get a hold of a ticket. i spent over $100 just in tickets to see them. Well, i LOVED the show, it was well worth the $100+ to go there. Tre Cool is my fave...so sexy so sexy...i was so surprised when the kid that was drumming was doing a good job, then Tre ripped him off the set and tossed him behind him and went and got the drummer from Jimmy Eat World. it was crazy. i work at the tweeter center and ive never seen a show like this! Im hoping they come to tweeter next summer! (even tho clear channel wont allow it :()

  Ps: that redcross presentation on MTV was awesome cuz the video they used for greenday because they couldnt make it was WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS LIVE AT GILLETTE STADIUM!!!!! isnt kool? anyways i couldnt see myself but i was there, right in front of them. WWOOOOOOOOOOO

  I went to see green day on september 3 at Gillette stadium for the first time and I was SOOOOOOO excited!BILLIE JOE had people come up on stage during the middle of the concert to play for a few minutes and a drummer a guitarist and a bass player all who had experience with those instruments. Two of the three lucky guy took home one of Billies guitars and another person got tres drum sticks!. Billie Joe was very funny!!! He made everyone laugh! and everyone was singing and screaming to all their songs! i had a great time! I wish they would come back again just them, I did not care for the other bands. It was a night I will never forget! Thank you green day fans for supporting the best band in the world! ROCK ON.I love you Billie Joe, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool

  i went to the september 3rd concert .. let me say that Green Day is such a kick @$$ band and i dont care what anyone says .. i love them to death ..unfortunatly i had seats but they were pretty awesome .. i left the stadium with a handfull of confetti :)
  i almost pissed myself when Billie STUCK HIS HAND DOWN HIS PANTS!!! :O
  I was pissed off when i heard that a couple kids from my city met the whole band later after the show. they said that trey was riding their bike ? hahaha i can so picture that though .. but they could be lying .. (who knows )
  
  hahaha that drunk bunny was awesomeeeee also .. i love him too
  
  
  if anyone has any info on the DVD .. i would love you forever if you told me :)

  I didn't see GD at Gillette, but I have seen them twice before, once at Tweeter, and once at the Verizon in NH (and GOD do I hate fricken Corporate naming - but that's another story)
  
  Anyway, the Sept show sounded good, from what you all said.
  I did see the Stones there in 2002, and the sound wasn't very good at all. We were way up like the last balcony - maybe that's why, but it was a bit disapointing.
  
  However, we saw the Pats there [Gillette] a couple weeks back (their last pre-season) and the sound was excellent.

  OMG, I'm SO PISSED that the Paris show was cancelled!! Can anyone tell me if/when they'l come to France/Germany or anywhere in Europe again? How long will they tour for? I can't wait to see them live again!!

  Its still not official about the cancelled Paris gig. I emailed greenday.net and they said yes its off. But the arena in Paris is still selling tickets and are completly unaware there us a problem. We have paid in full for flights, hotels, tickets etc so we are p***ed off.

  Just heard about the Paris gig getting cancelled. Everyone is still selling tickets, but the tour date has been taken off greenday.com
  
  If it's true, it's a pretty cheap way of letting people know, ie changing the tour dates on the official site, but not making any statement about it.
  
  Very poor show Green Day.

  I totally agree, I would have expected so much more from one of the biggest bands around. I cantacted the tour operator who I booked though and they are refusing to refund until its made oficial so what happens now? I'll lose my flight money what ever happens. Green Day need to seriously need to do some butt kissing after this mess up.

  My dad told me we were going to see green day again in paris after we had seen them @ milton keynes which rocked. It was a birthday present for me seeeing them in paris and today i read that they had cancelled the show. Now im not sure because people are still selling tickets. It is stupid to keep us hanging on a string like this. If anyone finds any more information post it on this website.

  Guess who I'm gonna bitch about? I'm gonna bitch about the band I hate most right now. So bite you're tongue and close your eyes- Because that band is Greenday. I recently purchased tickets to see Green Day play live in Paris because I loved them so much and was so desperate to see them play live. Instead of booking a Eurostar package to the gig i decided to book flights and accomodation plus tickets for the show...totaling several hundred pounds. Imagine my shock when I casually typed in a search on google to find out who the support band would be...'It has now been confirmed that Green Day will no longer play in Paris in November. They are currently planning another tour in April. See promoters for exchange or refund'. I was shocked that, not only had the once-non-comercial band decided to cancel the supposive 'final' date of their extensive 'American Idiot' tour but that they had also offered no apology or explanation whatsoever. The band had also agreed to perform at the MTV awards in Portugal just days before. Now I'm stuck with three nights useless accomodation in Paris and 3 non-refunadable over priced flight tickets as the only reason I was going to France was for this gig.So thanks Green Day, see you on MTV with Britney Spears and The Backstreet Boys from the Eiffel Tower, shall I?

  Green Day isn't a sell-out band, your just obviously upset coz you won't be able to see them in concert. I still want to see them, but i probably never will. *tear*. I reeaaally want to see Green Day in concert. They are the freakin' best. Aside from No Doubt.

  I went to the Thomas and Mack center in Las Vegas on 10-6 for the green day concert and wow they were freakin awesome!!! I went with my friend Alexa and we rocked out all night long so bad that the next day I didn't have my voice any more! I love greenday and will go to all the concerts from now on. I LOVE YOU BILLIE JOE WILL YOU MARRY ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!! I KNOW I'M ONLY 13 BUT I STILL LOVE YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I went to the Green Day Concert In L.A. on Oct. 8th. It was KICK ASS! I cant wait to see their concert again next year! It was beautiful when they played WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS and everyone held up their lighters and cell phones. Keep rockin' Billie Joe, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool! Keep rockin'!
