Headliner Arcturus followed after a rather boring raffle and a quick presentation of the full lineup for the Inferno Festival (Check bottom of review). Arcturus have seen band members coming and going, and vocalists seem to be the hardest to retain. The new frontman this time was Simen Hestnaes (Dimmu Borgir), who entered the stage in a baroque costume. His costume reminded me of Santa Claus (or should that be Kris Kringle) but did not distract from his awesome delivery. Many of the audience, including Gnorhat (who co-wrote this review) and I, had to leave before the end of this band's set due to travel arrangements. I managed to chat to the guys and get a free copy of their newest release, which I can report is rather good. Arcturus certainly were an excellent bookend to the stunning performance by Enslaved.
