So, seeing thousands of Iraqis celebrating their freedom on live TV doesn't justify this war. Finding chemical weapons labs "mysteriously" overlooked by the UN doesn't justify this war? Seeing the Iraqis giving hugs and hi-fives to our Marines, and yelling "We very like Bush!" (that's how the guy in Baghdad said it) doesn't give you goosebumps? How about the Iraqis dragging the head of the Saddam statue through the streets, all the while hitting it with their shoes (a very big insult)?

The fact that we would win was never in doubt, nor in fact, was it even an issue. The fact that the Iraqis would be better off without Saddam (in their minds or ours) wasn't an issue, although I wouldn't want to put too much faith in their good will toward America and Americans. The issue was: should we initiate this war? Well, that's obviously moot. But it's interesting to note that (at least to date) NO weapons of mass destruction, chemical, nuclear, etc. have been found. Some munitions have been found, certainly. Iraq had an army, and armies have weapons. If Saddam had had these things, don't you think he'd have used them when we were on his soil?

It seems like the recent movable type upgrade has done very little to curb the spambots (see #78), which I believed was the primary objective (yes/no?) :(
I've also noticed that spam concentration is much higher in the wee hours (EST) of the morning. Perhaps it would be more effective if there was comment moderation during these 4-6 wee hours?
Just a thought.

The new MT doesn't directly deal with spam comments, but it removes the linking incentive, so it will take time for the spammers to realize their efforts are for naught. I think it is down, by the way.

I love Charlie Daniels!!!!!! Everything he said was right on. I have been working since I was 15 yrs old and I am 42. When my father was ill they had a illegal immigrant who should have not been in this country in the first place and wasn't suppose to be and had a peety thef charge that we didn't know about and when my daughter went ot go on Cartoon network a bunch of Porn came up I fired the guy the next day.
I tried to get citizen ship legally of course in Austraila and its hard I work In the medical field. It kills me the crap I went through and couldn't get in and any yahoo can here!!!
