From CMU:
- Even more anti-war news! Yusuf Islam, formerly and better known as Cat
Stevens, has recorded two songs to express his opposition to military action
in the US. The first is a rerecording of his 70s hit 'Peace Train', the
other, 'Angel of War', a reworking of his melancholy love song 'Lady
D'Arbanville'.
Writing on his website he says: "As a member of humanity and as a Muslim,
this is my contribution to the call for a peaceful solution to the dangerous
path some world leaders today seem to be taking".

Trouble is, as a member of humanity one would think he would shut the hell up. Is his music not bad enough? After all the record trashing when he supported the execution of Salman Rushdie, I wonder if anyone has any Cat Stevens records left to smash?
Yusef managed to unite both the left and the right in the UK, as they all condemned him for his support of the fatwa against Rushdie.
More importantly does anyone still care what this slimeball has to say?

Yeah, I think he's a dickhead.
But I also think "Moonshadow" is still a good song.

Hi Eric,
I don't know if you saw this post by Damian Penny that Prof. Reynolds linked to over the weekend, but its pretty damning stuff about The Artist Formally Known as Cat.
