There's a couple of other songs out there from those days that are similarly untraceable, the one that immediately comes to mind is the song Chad and Jeremy did on The Patty Duke Show (the one they used to get whatever they were called on the show to get noticed). Perhaps it will require the patience of Kaspar Gutman to track these down.....

I've been searching for years for the Standells version of "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and I could never find it. I've given up and just recorded the version that appears on the Munsters and loaded that into my PC. It includes some chit-chat from the show but overall, I can live with that chit-chat because I think this is a great cover of IWTHYH

We remember that episode ahn the munster. After the band played the lead singer said "we really dig you guys" to the munster family. Herman's sardonic reply: "someday we'll return the favor."
