I make a new mix cd at the turn of every season. I've been compiling a list for my annual "Every Day is Halloween" version. I set the speakers out the window on Halloween and entertain the troops with my special brand of creepy music as they come begging for tricks and treats.
So far I have:
Misfits - Dig Up Her Bones (It was a choice between this and 100 other Misfits songs)
Alice Cooper - Welcome to my Nightmare
Warren Zevon - Werewolves of London
Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's Dead
Joy Division - Dead Souls
White Zombie - El Phantasmo and the Chicken-Run Blast-O-Rama
Brujeria - Sacrificio
Slayer - Necrophobic
Ministry - Everyday is Halloween
AFI - Halloween (Misfits Cover)
Ramones - Pet Semetary
Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast
Nick Cave - Red Right Hand
Type O Negative - Christian Woman/Black No. 1
Halloween - King Diamond
I'm taking suggestions. I'd like to make this a two cd set.

Excellent selections M, there's a lot of spooky goth and industrial: Alien Sex Fiend, Coil, Skinny Puppy, Einsturzende N., etc come to mind.

Fun idea for a mix! Here are some other track ideas:
Deliverance Soundtrack - Dueling Banjos
Butthole Surfers - Dracula from Houston
Camper Van Beethoven - O Death
Samhain - Horror Business
David Bowie - Scary Monsters
Social Distortion - Mommy's Little Monster
Eels - Friendly Ghost
Eels - My Beloved Monster
It's not all creepy, but at least it's on topic.
