Etheridge found guilty of Firearms charges after Proof killing
A Detroit court found Mario Etheridge guilty of carrying a concealed weapon and unlawfully firing a gun. The charges stem from the death of Proof, a member of D-12, who died from wounds received from a gunfire exchange outside of the CCC Club in April. Etheridge faces up to nine years in prison for the convictions.
Downloads to factor in UK singles charts
New rules being looked at by the Entertainment Retailers’ Association would allow downloads to count towards the singles chart as soon as they become available to download. Downloads currently only count one week before a single’s physical release and for two weeks after a CD has been deleted. The new rules would change the charts, allowing singles to rise up them prior to its release date.
Yale courses to be made available online for free
Yale University has said that it will make available some of its courses available on the web for free. Materials will include video, syllabi, and transcriptions in a number of languages. The program will begin with the 2007 academic year and will include seven courses such as “Introduction to Political Philosophy” and “Fundamentals of Physics”.
