Britain's FHM Music TV viewers have voted former Mouseketeer Christina Aguilera's "Dirrty" the sexiest video ever made.
About 150,000 votes were cast online with the most choosing Aguilera's video in which the scantily clad former Mickey Mouse Club member sings and grinds with a group of guys in a boxing ring, Sky News reported Friday.
Voted the second sexiest video was Eric Prydz's "Call on Me," featuring women exercising and third was Benny Benassi's "Satisfaction," starring more barely-dressed women, but this time wielding power tools.
Madonna — who created such controversy with her images and lyrics in the 1980s — was No. 6 for her "Justify My Love" video and the now married and pregnant Britney Spears' video "Toxic" placed No. 9.
Personally, I don't see how "Dirrty" is sexy at all. Raunchy...Slutty, maybe. But sexy? Hmph.

Funny, I've always thought Aguilara, who is stuffed like a sausage into her weirdly unappealing s&m inspired get-ups in her videos, was one of the least sexy female singers of the era. I'll take Britney over her, even now. Or even Jewel.

I think Aguilera's sexy. She's confident and she doesn't give a damn about what anyone thinks of her. How can that not be sexy? She has guts to do what she wants to do and not hide behind what society deems acceptable.
Plus, at least she can sing and has real talent. Unlike her peers...

Aguilera CAN sing, yes. She is in fact one of my favorite singers. But how you could say that she's sexy...I just don't understand. If you watch that video...she just looks like some kind of wild pig that's been rolling around in the mud and randomly decided to throw on some leather and plaid. In no way is she enticing or good to look at at all--in fact throughout the entire thing I just want to jump through the screen and tell the bitch to take a bath.

What I find so funny is that there were no male videos mentioned. Only female. It's really odd how our society views sexuality to be such a female-oriented thing. I dunno, maybe it's because in our society, it's okay for men AND women to view a woman and her aesthetic value but no so much with a man.

For me, a sexy video has to be more than just flesh. The attitude has to be there, too. Otherwise it comes across as creepy (as though the female singer was being told to do it..or else.)

Christina's way, way hot. She's maybe the hottest chick in music. I was feelin Fergie from the Black-Eyed Peas, but I think she's starting to hit the wall a little bit. Christina was still hot even when she was TRYING to be ugly with the weird piercings and black goth hair. When she's doing her platinum blonde, super-tan pornstar-lite look, goddamn that's one smoking hot lil chick. Plus she can sing or something. I'd never buy one of her CDs, but I would give it to her fortissimo, know what I'm sayin?
It's interesting to note that the 2 videos below Christina are huge European dance/house hits. The Prydz video is a cheesy throwback to 80s workout films with a bunch of hot chicks in short shorts and thongs bending over. I'd rather watch Christina skank it up. I've never seen the Bennassi video, but that song was huge in the clubs.
Britney is a short, stumpy, chubby redneck with bad skin. Britney's got little shame, but little sex appeal either no matter how hard she tries. Jewel is a snaggle-tooth Eskimo with ZERO sex appeal. Kylie's alright for an older chick, but she's a midget who really doesn't do anything for me. Gay men LOVE her, though, around the globe. She's the new Cher, a gay dance icon.
The funniest Billy Idol stage banter from this year's Lollapalooza:
"I know you all are gonna remembah this song ... Danceteria, 1982, New Yowk City, two fingehs up Madonnah's arse, yaaaahhhh!!!!!" Cue the intro guitars for White Wedding while Billy makes obscene thrusting gestures with said fingers ... priceless moment that had a crowd of thousands laughing. Billy's cartoonish and still thinks it's 1982, but he's a one-of-a-kind presence and still looks and acts like he's the king of the stage.
