Dell recalls notebook batteries
Dell is voluntarily recalling 4.1 million notebook computer batteries. This is the largest recall in U.S. history. The recall has occurred because of reports of laptops that have burst into flames. Dell has set up a website www.dellbatteryprogram.com to address any questions about the recall.
Missy Elliott to release new album
Missy Elliott has set a release date for her upcoming Best of album Respect Me. The best of album contains tracks from all six of her albums and will be preceded by a single “We Run This” which will be released on August 21st. The album Respect Me is set to be released on September 4th. The album has 17 tracks, including “Get Ur Freak On”, “Gossip Folks”, “Work it” and “Pass the Dutch”.
Bob Dylan to premiere album on satellite radio
Bob Dylan will premiere his upcoming album Modern Times on XM satellite radio on August 28th. The album is set to air at midnight as part of XM’s Deep Tracks, The Village and Hear Music channels. It will also be broadcast on a few partners’ XM channels such as DirecTV and JetBlue. The album, which is Dylan’s first studio album in five years, will be released the following day on August 29th.
