David Ford is a UK troubadour in the true modern sense of the word. Like other storytelling masters Ford's songs are substantive and full of raw emotion expressed with an arsenal of tools including wit, anger, introspection and longing. And, like the troubadours that inspire him, Ford is road warrior.
His extensive touring in 2006 supporting his debut full length record I Sincerely Apologize For All The Trouble I've Caused won over many fans, including heavyweights like Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young. Ford has followed up with another winner in Songs For The Road and appropriately is out on tour once again winning over new fans along the way.
David was gracious enough to stop into Sun and share his songs with us so that we can share some with you. His performance was simply spectacular. We've captured several songs that we'll share with you over the next several weeks. In the video below, Ford delivers a rousing rendition of "Go To Hell" - enjoy.
