I had the great pleasure to meet Danny and get to know him a little and actually was invited backstage many times and on the satgw with him watching the house band on a couple of occasions. He loved to listen to the house bands from time to time When their show was over. The guy had love. Always had time to talk. However, I can tell you for a fact he would kick the shit out of Les and enjoy it on any given day. He was a great guy but I cant say he would leave a tooth in this idiots head. Step up maggot! DJB was one of a very few that most of us will never be or even know. I was 15 in 1980 when I saw the first show. I saw them every time they got close to Ga. Thanks for all the great memories Danny! You will live with us always. Les is already forgotten! He crawled back in the sludge he came from. Peace be with the DJB family. I share your pain. Two music legends gone in two weeks.

I had 2 rock and roll heroes for the past 30 year. Danny and Hughie Thomasson. Now they have both moved on to the next stop. I will be looking for them on the Other Side.
R.I.P. Danny and Hughie
Southern Rock has lost 2 of it's greatest.

Molly Hatchet is one of my all time favorites, I am lucky I got to see Danny Joe Brown more times than I can count, I love and miss him. I wonder how many new songs he will have when the rest of us are able to join him at the biggest concert ever. He is one of the greats among greats. I know he had a great welcoming party in Heaven. He and Ronny are parting on.
