Crimson the King?

Title: The Power to Believe
Group: King Crimson
Label: Sanctuary

The list of bands featuring members and former members of this group are too many to name but groups as diverse as Asia and Bad Company are typical. KC has never been for the faint-hearted and their newest disc is no exception. Ranging from Tool-like oddness on 'Facts of Life' to the a capella opening track. The tracks here may be complicated experimental prog rock but they never lose their melody. This is not the most obvious new album, but if one gives it a chance, it can be very rewarding. It is wonderful the band is back and it is obvious to see why KC have been such an inspiration to the more avant garde of today's rock bands. This is a rewarding investment for those willing to take the chance.
