The Los Angeles-based trio The Exies have shot the video for their cover of the Talking Heads song, "Once in a Lifetime" (from the TH album Remain in Light) and they are inviting you to check it out: (Windows Media|QuickTime). The video was first released on the band's MySpace profile.
The alt-rock outfit has a new album slated for release April 10. "Once in a Lifetime" will be the first single from the album and the band will be hitting the road next year with Papa Roach to promote the new disc. The Exies have recently worked with Buckcherry and have previously toured with 30 Seconds to Mars.
According to AMG, the album's title is A Modern Way Of Living With The Truth and will be their first for new label Eleven Seven. Modern Way... will be their fourth release following 2004's Heading for the Door. Heading for the Door was the follow up to Inertia, which featured "My Goddess," a hit on modern rock radio. Inertia and Heading for the Door were both released by Virgin.
The band's current lineup is Scott Stevens (vocals, guitar), Freddy Herrera (bass, vocals) and Chris Skane (guitar, vocals).
