CD Review: Rhythm Of Honor-A Tribute To The Brave - Page 2

"A Soldiers Daughter” is a young woman’s ode to her father and the pride she has for his service to our country. “Send Me,” tells the story of a brave man saying I am not afraid to die with honor for my cause. The “Ballad Of Junior” is another tale about a young man that comes back from war changed forever. His mom expects the same person to return and it does not happen, the realities become evident quickly once the soldier comes back from the war to stay. The horrors of war will tear your heart out and disturb your thought process for the remainder of your life. If you have ever been to a veteran’s clinic or home you will understand were I am coming from. You do have the opportunity to travel in the service, but there is a price to pay when you homeland is at war. If you are fortunate enough to come back home, you will return a different person, guaranteed.

50 cents of every copy of Rhythm Of Honor sold will go to the Wounded Warriors Hospital Fund. We do not want to forget our service people when they come back home and if they need help we should be there for them just as they were there for us in our time of need. This fine group of songs holds tremendous meaning. I am sure that many people will find their story in this music. This is not your everyday CD, and it is not only the music that you will hear loud and clear. The story between the notes will hit home with force. The music is great and it drives all the messages home with feeling that is hard describe without having some kind of personal experience related to the subject.

This is a great cause with some solid songs to back it all. How can you beat a win win situation like this? Enjoy some good music and help those in need at the same time. So yourself a favor and our American forces, get this CD now.

This is a GREAT set of songs and a great cause, too. Semper Fi!

Also a very well-thought-out review, and I feel the same way about the CD. I wish them the best of luck with the Pass It On part.

Thanks Kieth for the stunning review. I'm one of the writers on the "Rythm Of Honor" cd. ("If Every Second Was Ours" and "Military Way Of Life") We all really appreciate your support.

    Take Care,

Thank you all for your supportive comments! I was very moved by this tribute to our veterans. Being a veteran myself made this something that was close to my heart. The music and words really spoke to me.

    Hi Keith,

Thanks so much for your interest and consideration of this project!! There were SO many more great & deserving songs submitted for consideration to be included on this recording, and the few songs selected really tell more stories than just the folks who wrote and performed on this album. I too served a tour in the USN... and I couldn't agree with you more about the men and women who serve... or the families who serve with them. They are truly what makes America great. God bless those who watch and wait.

    Keith -

Thanks for the thoughtful and thought-provoking review of Rhythm of Honor. I am proud to have been a part of the CD, and, on reading your review, I thought of all the soldiers from this and prior wars who have risked all for our freedoms. It is important to honor these men and women - thanks for PASSING IT ON.
