After living with Neil Young's Living With War since Friday, the verdict is in. Listen here to render your own.
The new Neil Young album Living With War has created a firestorm of controversy, and it isn't even in record stores yet. The latest word on that seems to suggest a soft release date of May 8, which would put the CD in stores by this Monday or Tuesday — the day most retail outlets adhere to as a rule.…

Let the rubber speak for itself Barger.
You can go on thinking I like everything Neil and you'd probably be right, but I still say his song, although not nearly the best on this album, is 10 times better than Dr. Sandwich's.
Your credibility sank with the popping of your over inflated ego.

The Mission accomplished meant that Saddam Hussein was out of Power. Gone. He was and still is. Where was your Liberal compassion for the people Saddam was murdering daily ? Why were you not upset at the fact that the Oil for Food money was going right in his pocket as well as the pockets of France, Russia and Kofi Anan's son ? Did'nt bother you one bit did it ? Nope. Did'nt bother you that Saddam violated every "a hem" U.N. resolution on the books which "a hem" resolved, "Desert Storm". Warning after warning after warning after talks after talks after warning ignored. What we're we supposed to do, let this Mid East tyrant tell the United States of America what to do ? That's your Liberal mind set. Not Americas mind set. News flash: These Rags Heads should they be allowed to gain power in this country, will go after you Communist Liberals first thing. Your the reason they hate this country so much. Your Fags and Abortions and S and M clubs and your Anti-God attitudes. If these sand monkeys come here do you think they're gonna let you keep their God out of our Schools the way you mock Jesus ? Haaaaa. And lets see you take their Guns, that would be rich too. Tell me this, how would your attitudes and protests and talking points and speeches be any different if you were actually for our enemines ? How. They'd be exactly the same. Neil Young needs to know this and it is my mission to convey the message. Peace out Brother.

Rubberneck,
You don't know me or what I stand for, so don't assume I wasn't upset with Sadaam's atrocities or the oil for food joke conducted by U of N (University of Nincompoops). As far as the rest of your racist commentary, you do not speak for America and in fact you have proven by your own pathetic words that you are cut from the same cloth as the Muslim fanatics. In other words you sound incredibly like them except you worship a different God. In fact since you think they're coming over here to gain control (a little paranoid are we?) why don't you welcome them, because as you say they believe what you believe....NO same sex marriages, God taught in every school, Religion being the foundation of our nation, Guns in every closet, NO abortions.
Hell....you have the same platform, exactly!
S and M clubs? Do you frequent these Rubberneck?
Are you feeling guilty for your feelings?
My talking points wouldn't be any different numbskull because I have philosophical differences with YOU and them and YOU are not speaking for America. America is far more middle of the road then a right WING pinko commie nut job like you.
Right back at ya.....HOW ARE YOUR TALKING POINTS ANY DIFFERENT THAN THEIRS? Esplain.....
80 - Rubberneck
Now lookahere there Martin, you obviosly don't read or know the contents of their speeches. Their goal is to fly the Muslim Flag atop the White House, or did'nt you know that ? My guess is you did'nt or as a typical Lib, you just wanted to look the other way and bury your head in the sand, get it ? In the Sand ! LOL ! wave a White Fag ooops Flag and just be a good worker ant for them so long as nobody gets physically injured. How else do you Libs explain your reverence for Tookie Williams, Stalin, Ho Chi Min, Mao, Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro and others ? Oh yeah, I speak for America, believe it. We Rush Limbaugh types are the silent majarity. You call me a racist because I have the balls to decry the sons of bitches that cut our peoples heads off ? So be it then, I'm a Racist, so what ? According to you Libs I have an absolute right to be whatever I want. I'll bet there aint no Blacks in your hood there Homie. How many Hippies live in South Central ? I mean since they are the furthest things from racist and all. Right ? Did you see the county by county election map ? Not even your Blue States are Blue. We're on to ya, don't you get it ? So just keep putting your Springsteen coward run to Canada when your country needs ya types up on the Soap box and throw Cindy Sheehan in just for laughs and we'll see another Republican land slide victory in November. By the way, I am sick and tired of illegal Mexicans devouring Welfare and Food Stamps and free Health Care and making a Mockery of this country. I am sick and tired of hearing conservatives are heartless because we do not subscribe to the Bible as understood and explained by School Bus Ray Nagin who diverted the hundreds of millions of dollars earmarked for levy's and squandered it on failed Social give-aways and fake city contracts. Thus the American people pick up the tab, again. At last count, 2 Billion dollars in FRAUD. 2000 Million dollars up in a Cloud of smoke. All that in the name of compassion. So what did the people of New Orleans do as a thank you for the compassion ? Spit in the face of every American that did their part to help their fellow man. Why ? Simple, because the media told them that they were entitled and that they were lifes loosers and that if they'll just vote for a Communist they will remain entitled. There should have been no racism in New Orleans. It should have been a Liberal utopia and everything should have been perfect considering how long they'd been running the show.

What were the Japanese battle deaths -- not civilian deaths, Japanese battle deaths? 1.59 million: 1,590,000 battle deaths suffered by the Japanese. That means that it's a ratio, and this doesn't really state it properly. Twenty-two Japanese battlefield deaths for every one American battlefield death. This does not include the million more that were targeted, civilians targeted, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Battle deaths, 1.59 million. That's in addition to the civilian deaths, ranging from several hundred thousand to more than a million. Precise figures hard to come by since estimates vary so widely on the number of deaths as a result of the atomic bombs at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Now, if you're going to say, "Well, that was a disproportionate response by the United States of America, disproportionate response. Why, we had to kill 22 of them for every one we lost just because they attacked Pearl Harbor?"

I read only few of the previous posts before I had to run to the toilet to vomit. What is wrong with some of you people? Just because someone criticizes the government does not make them Anti-American. In fact, it makes them by definition American. If you want to live in a country where you are spoon-fed truths and ideologies move to Communist China. I'm personally not a fan of Neil, nor am a Liberal. What I am is American. And I'm proud that I live in a country that has an outlet for all types of protests or criticisms. America is fucked up place...just like everywhere else on the planet. On the scale of 'fucked up-ness' America is certainly behind a lot of countries, but the way to true democracy and freedom is through expression. So don't bash Neil with one hand while you jerk-off Rush Limbaugh with the other. Let them both jerk themselves off. Now that is democracy!

Now thats some drama I can appreciate. Amen, Brother, Amen.

Drama,
You hit the nail on the head and I for one believe that is the entire point of Neil Youngs album in the first place. However.....one small difference is that it is NOT limited to North America it is the right of all free democratic countries to voice their opinion, excercise dissent where appropriate and create dialog to ensure we are doing the right thing. While I personally don't agree with Rush Limbaugh he has every right to voice his one-sided views and create a herd to follow him over the cliff. And we have the right to try and move that herd away.
Peace
90 - Glen Boyd
He did sum it up rather succinctly and rather well didn't he Martin?
That having been said, your point is also quite well taken. We all have the right to speak out. You, me, Neil, Rush, Rubberneck...it's what makes us as "America" unique and seperates us from the totalitarian regimes of the world.
We don't always have to agree on everything, and indeed most of the time few of us do. But the one thing I think we all can agree on, is our God given right as Americans to speak our mind.
I just got a DVD in the mail of the movie "V For Vendetta" and I'll be putting up a review sometime this weekend. That film I thought was an excellent commentary on some of the very same things we've discussed here over the past few months (even if it is somewhat cleverly disguised as an action movie...with a sympathetic terrorist as it's hero no less).
On a related note, some of you may want to check out my movie preview on the upcoming "The US VS John Lennon" film coming out next month. This movie is going to draw a lot of fire I think because it draws parallels between what Lennon went through for speaking out during the Nixon years (he was basically kept out of the country), and some of the same things happening today in the "bush years".
And Rubberneck...I think it's a natural forum for your rather "unique" take on things.
Gentlemen, start your engines...LOL...

And Rubberneck...I think it's a natural forum for your rather "unique" take on things.
Glenny Boy,
That's where you make your mistake my friend. My take is no where near unique. My take is main stream. Our mixed up friends from the East Village in lower Manhattan, those are the ones that have a unique take. Believe me. The New York Times, they have a unique take, or did, Ha Ha, because this time it's gonna cost them. It already has. Yes, this is so yummy. I hope they go Bankrupt if they ain't already. They deserve it. Damned traitors to the flag. Take a Look @ a County by County map of the 2004 Presidential Election and tell me I'm unique. Nope, it's Libs that are unique, Libs. Liberalism never works, never. Johnsons war on poverty for example. 6 Trillion in and all we have is Mexicans scampering to the border for free food, free health care and free housing and eliete, powerful Liberals pulling out there compassion card in order to stuff it down us middle class peoples throats. What's more, we have to sit here and take it. If the rich and powerful Liberals love illegals so much why not let them Homested on their land. Noooooo, they want the Gang Bangers next door to me. They want my kids in danger. They don't care because they get to be in their Liberal world with their Liberal thoughts and their Liberal friends and send their kids to their safe protected Liberal schools and the rest of us have to suck on it. Well, no more. Fuck that shit. No more. Fuck Rob Reiner and Mike Farrell and Neil Young.
Tax cuts work every time they're tried. Kerry said the current Ecomomy is the worst since Herbert Hoover ! Was he full of crap ? Yes of course he was. Actually the Economy has never been stronger in the History of this nation.
Abortion is without a doubt, Murder. No where in the Constitution does it say a woman has a right to Murder her baby. Liberals say it does.
The purpose of the Government is to protect the country not to grant Health Care to illegal Mexicans.
Liberalism says: You need us because you're a looser, vote for us and we'll take care of you.
Conservatism says: I did it and you can do it to.
The Constitution clearly states we have a right to "Keep" and "Bear Arms". Liberals say it doesn't say that.
Is this the fuckin Twilight Zone ?
You can't mention God in School but they can teach that it's O.K. for two Faggots to marry each other and poke each other in the gum gum shoot ? Or that it's O.K. for Heather to have two Mommy's ?
Finally in this segment of Rubberneck now:
Liberals support Abortion on demand even without the consent of a young girls parent, but demand that the states not execute those sentenced to death. The scum of the earth should live but unborn babies should die because they're inconvinient.
Like I said, the Twilight Zone.
92 - Glen Boyd
Mr. Neck,
As always you make several valid points. Just don't call me "Glenny Boy" okay? I don't wanna have to come down there and show ya that the reputation of us liberals all being "pussies" is a complete myth okay? LOL...
Anyway...
I'm a Christian myself Mr. Neck. Not sure if you knew that, but I am. As such, I recognise the biblical truths in a lot of what you talk about. Though personally, I don't find it very Christian myself referring to homosexuals as "faggots." Not at all.
Personally, It's not my own personal choice for a lifestyle, but until this country becomes a fundamentalist Christian theocracy (which I pray it never does), I will not support legislating the moral choices of others lest the tables are one day turned back on me and I am unable by law to make my own moral choices...which may well be different ones, but the governing principle remains the same.
If you follow biblical prophecy at all Mr. Neck (and i suspect it's likely you do), then you already know the end-time kingdom set up by the AntiChrist is going to be the ultimate "theocracy".
It's just not going to be one terribly favorable to Christians. Which is why the rush of some very well meaning Christians to impose their will on those of a differing viewpoint personally astonishes me. I don't think they fully realize the precedent they want to set may very well end up coming back to take a large bite out of their ass.
Do you see what I'm getting at here?
My point of view remains remarkably consistent, though you may fail to see it. Freedom is something that cannot be exclusive to a belief system, or else it becomes something that is no longer freedom at all.
You can call this viewpoint "liberal," "conservative" or whatever you like (and personally I hate the labels that politicians from both ends of the debate use to advance what are largely their own personal agendas which have little to do with "the rest of us").
But my point of view is simply that we live in this great, wonderful country where one of our most fundamental rights is the right to express ourselves freely. That to me is the beauty of America. And that is something I will fight for in whatever small way, blogging for whoever wants to read my crap on Blogcritics or whatever, I am able to while it still exists.
Does this make any sense to you yet Mr. Neck?
It's why I admire Neil Young. Actually it's why I admire YOU Mr. Neck, though we may not see eye to eye on every single thing.
You speak your mind (as does our boy Neil), regardless of what others may think. I welcome your viewpoint here, even the parts I dont agree with, because in doing so an intellectual discourse...something unique to our democracy and something I want to see is continued to be protected at all costs...is encouraged.
As I have said many times over the course of this discussion...and not as kiddingly or condecendingly as you may think...Aint America Great?
Make sense at all to you?
And I do hope you check out my Lennon thread. I'd be interested in your viewpoint, "unique or not".
Your opinion on anything I write about is always welcomed by me Mr. Neck.
Aint America Great?

The single greatest gift from Jesus to his Christian followers was the beatitudes. Yet most of his modern day descendants continue to follow Moses' teachings. Post the 10 commandmants on the courthouse steps, an eye for an eye, laying down with beasts....etc....hell most modern day movies about Jesus focus on his death and destruction, not his life, his teaching his hope. Blood and guts sells. Any hollywood exec knows that.
Don't think we'll be seeing any of the Beatitudes posted on the courthouse steps real soon.
Blessed are the merciful.....doubt it.
How about at the pentagon.
Blessed are the peacemakers......nope.
What about posting Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth posted at the border of the USofA. How about you post that there yourself Rubberneck? .... now that would be a nice Christian gesture!
Aint Christianity great?
95 - Rubberneck
A Liberal Christian ? Hummmm. What a concept. Whether you know it or not Glen there is no such thing. It simply cannot be. It's one thing to be a typical everyday sinner, you can over come that through the blood of Jesus but it's a whole other thing to openly oppose and or mock God. Abortion is a great example of a mockery. Homosexuality is another great example. A person such as Hitler, Mao, Ho, Chi Min, Pol Pot, Kim, Jung Il ect...Glen there is a special place reserved for those cats.
Anyway:
"Until this country becomes a fundamentalist Christian theocracy"
News Flash:
It was and everything was dandy, not perfect but dandy. It was taught in the schools, believe it or not. Would they have taught in say oh, I don't know, 1872 that it was kool for Heather to have two carpet munching Mommy's ? Hell no. Why do the Libs think it's O.K. now ? Saddom and Gammora anyone ? Do we really need to learn that type of lesson again ?
It's not that Liberals can't speak out, by all means, feel free but they are not going to treat me as if I'm the crazy one or that I'm stupid or that I just don't understand. I understand fully and perfectly. In fact Glen, I love when they speak out because it displays for all to see their colossal ignorance which more often than not is quite entertaining and hilarious to boot. Cindy Sheehan should have her own show, I'd watch, popcorn in hand. She could bring on guest ass clowns such as John Kerry who could show the world his fake self inflicted wounds. She could have Sharpton as a perm side kick, oh man, that would be something to see.
On the Lennon thing, I went down to the Dakota the night he was shot and stood there for about 2 days. I was 15. I knew nothing about politics or Lennons communistic tendencies but as you well know, I do now. I used to think Imagine was a great tune. I even heard it explained by Father Bill Airs on 95.5 W.P.L.J. years and years ago as Lennon's own way of describing, Heaven. To me, these days, it may as well be the Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels.
Back to the War:
How do you have a ceasefire with terrorists? Ceasefires and peace movements don't work with this enemy. Only eliminating them does. That reality is beginning to take root in Iraq and Israel. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad basically proposed the final solution; he wants the Sand People, I know you're proud Glen, to become like Hitler when he was wiping out as many Jews as he possibly could. Now, do you deal with this guy --insane lunatic -- or do you take him at face value ? Kofi Annan's speech yesterday was meaningless, it was cliché-filled, and it was self-serving. But with talent on loan from God, I can sum it up in three phrases: 'Israel is overreacting. The children are dying, and I am leading. No, I won't resign. What a Crock of shit. Good typing to ya Glenn.
96 - Glen Boyd
Mr. Neck,
First of all, please understand that no one here mistakes you for being "stupid." I certainly know that I don't.
I've resisited engaging in a debate with you for the simple reason that I've gotten into these kinds of pissing contests (the battle of "right" vs "left" ideology) and the one thing I've learned from them is that nobody can ever win in such a debate.
To me, its a waste of time when nine times out of ten both parties minds were made up long ago.
Anyway, I'm not going to engage in that sort of debate now either. I suspect our minds are both pretty much made up. You love Rush Limbaugh for example, which is certainly your right. I think at best he is blowhard who loves nothing so much as the sound of his own voice, and at worst he is a well-paid mouthpiece for the GOP spin machine.
On the other hand I love Neil Young, equally my right, and you pretty much think he has sold his soul to the commies and others whose soul aim is to subvert our great republic with poisonous ideas.
Two very different points of view. But like I said, I doubt there is anything either of us can do to sway our opinions one way or another. So theres little point in trying.
What I will say, is that I absolutely respect and will defend your right to expouse your own views even if I disagree with them. And again, this is my whole point...what makes America great, and what sets us apart from the totalitarian governments of the world is the fact that our system guarantees us this most fundamental right.
It's something I believe very, very strongly in and something that defines what makes a person a true patriot in my ever so humble opinion.
Where else but America are say, Glen and Rubberneck for example (and I have a best friend right here in Seattle who shares your political world view to a TEE Mr. Neck)...anyway, where else are Mr. Boyd and Mr. Neck for example going to have am all out, no holds barred, frank discussion of these things without fear of reprisal? And where else are these same two guys, lets again call them Mr. Boyd and Mr. Neck, going to most likely sit down and have a good laugh and a beer afterwords?
Thats my pont Mr. Neck. And by the way, if you ever make it up to Seattle, first rounds on me okay?
One more thing I want to briefly talk about and then I'll shut up for now. And thats the Christianity issue. I personally find no conflict whatsoever in being a Christian whose faith in Jesus is ROCK SOLID, and holding some views that might be called "liberal" (actually I think of myself as more of a "moderate" and hold views on some things I think you and I would more than agree on).
My understanding of the Bible is the same as yours Mr. Neck. The parts dealing with sin do indeed put homosexuality in that category, just as they do many other things (far less talked about and exploited by politicians who know a hot button when they see one). I think abortion is an absolutely abhorrent practice as well.
That said, I've also read the parts in the bible about how "believers" are to deal with sin. As believers, we are washed in the blood of Jesus. We are not perfect by any means, but we are forgiven. Thats my understanding of how it works.
And where we encounter sin, we are to likewise "hate the sin, but love the sinner." I see far too many using their belief in Christianity as an excuse to promote hatred (the "God Hate Fags" guy would be a good example of this) in such a way that those who otherwise might be persuaded to hear the message of the gospel are simply driven further and further away from it.
Politicians use this message to divide people, much the same way racism has been used in the past (and continues to be in some quarters).
The Jesus I know as my personal saviour is a God who loved us sinners so much he died for us. God the Father also gave us free will. The paths some choose are a matter of personal choice and something between themselves and God. It's something that government has no business being involved in, at least in my view.
And I am not going to actively "hate" someone based on who they sleep with. Besides...if we want to dive into the pool of sexual immorality, theres plenty of that to go around amongst the heterosexual community if we are going to take an absolute literalist view on that particular subject. I know I've done my share of sleeping around and that is something I believe referred to as adultery in the Bible. Too many of those pointing fingers, slinging arrows, and worse, need to take a closer look at their own house Mr. Neck.
I sleep just fine at night very secure in my faith and very sure of my place with Jesus. Can every single politician who exploits age old divisions and prejudices in society for what is more often than not reasons which can be directly traced to their own blind ambitions claim the same?
I think not.
-Glen
P.S. You said in your last post:
"I know you're proud Glen, to become like Hitler when he was wiping out as many Jews as he possibly could."
Mr. Neck, I love my Jewish brothers and I can't believe you would make a statement like that about me. But I will tell you this...that type of genocide can be the end result of exploiting fears and inflaming passions as surely as that ghastly historical event surely proved. Next time, it may just be some other ostracized group who takes the fall. Whos next Mr. Neck?
Gays? Christians?
Think about it my friend. And peace be with you Mr. Neck.

The Beatitudes (from Latin, beatitudo, happiness) is the name given to the well-known, definitive and beginning, portion of the Sermon on the Mount of the Gospel of Matthew. Some are also recorded in the Gospel of Luke and Gospel of Thomas. In this section, Jesus describes the qualities of the citizens of the Kingdom of heaven (It refers to the reign or sovereignty of God over all things, as opposed to the reign of earthly or satanic powers), showing how each is/will be blessed. The Beatitudes do not describe many separate individuals, but rather the characteristics of those who are deemed blessed by God. Kodjak believes that this opening of the sermon was meant to shock the audience, as a deliberate inversion of standard values, but that today this shock value has been lost owing to the commonness of the text.

Read them Rubberneck, don't just post a summary of what Wikpedia says about them. The point is that Jesus summed up all the lessons/miracles/teachings of the his entire life during this 3 day peace festival on the Mount. It is the secret to eternal life and my point in bringing it up is, not too many Christians refer to it. Hell it would appear that you did not. The fact that it is documented in 3 different Gospels and also included in Paul's letters and varying Roman documents lends credence to the importance of these teachings.
Resist not Evil.....Rubberneck
It means that if you spew hate, as you have in your posts, that you are giving Evil power over you and you will not have peace.

That same Bible is filled with battles on behalf of God, is it not ? God never said "Let thine enemies shit upon you". An Eye for an Eye, Tooth for a Tooth. Take Israel for instance: The sand monkey's wanted land for peace. Israel said O.K. have the land but leave us alone in peace. Gave up Gaza, South Lebonon, dismantled settlements, Golon Heights, West Bank ect... What did they get for it ? Katusha Rockets right in the middle of Main Street, daily. Also kidnapped / Murdered Soldiers ect... There will never be peace until a total 100 percent victory. Only Victory will bring peace. The rag heads will never let Israel be. Never. Thus Israel has to wipe them out for good. The Bible said for Israel to wipe them out or they will be a thorn in their side forever. And so it is. Peace out Brotha'.
Your Pal,

I myself was focusing on the word of a man named Jesus, who supposedly was the Son of God. One Sermon he gave, well documented. Not the first half of the Bible written by men with all of their subjectivity and influences of the day, including the so-called desert nomads that weren't like them that wrote it and the ones that Jesus came to contradict.
Wipe them out for good huh, that'll work. Seems to work quite well for a thousand years I see.

Rubbersneck,
Chill out dude, you get way too worked up. Glad they took you off the wall in Korea and put you in the paddy, where you belong.
I love John Kerry....

YOU LOVE JOHN KERRY ?
Figures you'd love a Traitor. A guy with 3 Purple Hearts and no wounds. A guy that has a Dis-Honorable discharge due to his subversive activities against his own government. A guy Honored in the Vietnam War Memorial Museum. You love him ??? That just figures.
118 - Al Barger
Now Rubberneck, that's just not true when you say Kerry had no wounds. On at least one of those Purple Heart qualifying incidents, he absolutely had to have a band-aid. Why would he have needed a band-aid if he wasn't wounded, huh?

Here's the show I attended @ Jones Beach:
09-09-1984, Jones Beach Music Theater, Wantagh, New York (Almost 85 anyway)
w/ The International Harvesters
Mama, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys / Are You Ready For The Country? / Motor City / Comes A Time / Hawks And Doves / Bound For Glory / Are There Any More Real Cowboys? / Amber Jean / Heart Of Gold / Too Far Gone / Roll Another Number / Southern Pacific / The Needle And The Damage Done / Helpless / California Sunset / It Might Have Been / Flying On The Ground Is Wrong / Soul Of A Woman / Field Of Opportunity / Old Man / Powderfinger / Get Back To The Country / Four Strong Winds

Oh I see, my bad. Got confused between "Are there any more real cowboys" "Mamma don't let you babies grow up to be cowboys" "Are you ready for the country" "Get back to the conutry"
My original statement should have referred to:
"Mamma don't let you babies grow up to be cowboys". Hew'.
My bad.
Rubberneck.

Why would he have needed a band-aid if he wasn't wounded, huh?
I stand corrected again. Should self inflicted wounds count for Purple Hearts tho' ? That is the question.

From # 73
The big encore was "Mamma don't let you babies grow up to be Cowboys". Country music in the North East. But I stuck by this guy and took all the arrows my friends could sling.
I did say that. I'm right even when I think I made a mistake. Damn I'm good.

Rubber,
I stand by my original post #53, if you are a true Neil fan and stood by him even when your supposed friends were bashing him, then you my son are a "flip-flopper" and you must love John Kerry. It must grate you to no end to hear this great album of Neil in full throttle with the lyrics that cut you to the core. I mean this is a fantastic album and will go down as one of his best. Mark my words. You my friend will have to live with it the rest of you life. When Neil passes from this earth and the tributes that will far surpass anything ever done for the two drug addicts Johnny Cash and Ray Charles AND we find out with the benefit of sanity created by hindsight, that this BUSH war on TRUTH is/was a F'n disgrace, you will not be able to escape the FACTS that you rolled over on your HERO Neil. War on truth ? Bush ? President Bush tells it like it is. Period. Like it is. You want to hear a Lie, listen to Harry Reed, if you even know who that is. As for this Album, appropriately wrapped in a garbage bag, going down as a great album, don't make me fuckin' laugh. Every song is a re-write of another song and the toughest cord he strums is a G. It's off the Charts and has sold less than 200,000 copies. Reprise did not even recover cost. Again. That's because it's Garbage. Got that ?
