Martin Sexton, released his latest album Camp Holiday, through his own independent label, Kitchen Table Records on Nov. 15. He recorded the album in a cabin deep within the Adirondack Mountains.
The perfect winter time companion with the timeless classics of "I'll Be Home For Christmas," "Silent Night," "Holly Jolly," and "Let There Be Peace on Earth," among many others as well as original tunes like the title song, "Camp Holiday."
Though I love the Christmas season and the music that accompanies it, most Christmas albums don't offer much. Either they are so dry and boring or they try to put to much of a new twist to the classics, that they ruin it. However, I must say, I found this CD to be one of the best Christmas albums ever and it will definitly find a place in my Christmas CD collection. The music was a delight to listen to. The acoustic guitar sounds were awesome and made it so that you could almost smell and hear the fire in the fireplace. You could just imagine sitting in front of the fireplace on a cool December day singing Christmas Carols. I encourage everyone to checkout this CD today.
