Wow! It certainly does suck when a band finally gives up the last bit of their edge and sells out completely. Korn began inching that way with Follow The Leader, and they’ve now completed the transition fully. See You On The Other Side is by far the most tepid, radio-friendly piece of crap this band has ever produced. Maybe it was the turmoil of their new record deal. Maybe it was the loss of Brian “Head Welsh”, or maybe it’s just a cash grab; but whatever the case, Korn has recorded the worst album of their career.…

Man i hate when ppl diss an awesome band....These guys started it all back in 94, if it werent for them you wouldn't even have bands like slipknot, sysetm of a down, etc. and besides being around for almost 13 years...what? were u xpecting like a fist to come out of the fuckin cd and smack you in the face?? they lost there gutarrist and produced this with a completly different record company, of course it wont be "original" but hey, who are we to decide whats original...think about it...there's ALWAYS something different between EVERY KoЯn (hope the backwards "r" worked) album!!The only ones that sound truley alike are Korn/LIP (and to enlighten ya'll that cd kicks ass and ur a fucking idiot if you dont think otherwise) and Untouchables/TALITM but even with those there's still major differences in each one and to tell you the truth, no i didn't really like this album but on the other hand, it has some real kick ass songs like hypocrites and seen it all, try listening to the cd not hearing it..."listening" to it...you'll totally change ur mind on ur oppinion that this cd sucks...It's not "the best" but it's still good i'd give it like a 6-7/10 at least

Listen, i appriciate peoples views on bands, but it's not right to call them sell outs and hit on them that harshly.
It made me angry just to know people could put down such an amazing band, just because they way they want to do things makes one little person unhappy.
I know it's a review, and i know you're suposed to speak your mind, but you could've atleast been a little open minded, as koRn are by far one of the greatest bands ever known.

One thing that gets me about these reviews is that they come out a few days after the cd has been released. I don't know of a single cd I liked after just one or two listens. Sometimes it takes a bit before one "get its". Anyone who is expecting to fall head or heels for a cd after the first spin should just stick with radio trash.
There is nothing wrong with this album. However, there is nothing new or exciting about it either. Korn, like most bands with commercial success, follow a simple formula when is comes to song structure. A small intro which breaks into a 3 or 4 lines that set up a catchy hook/chorus then this is repeated again which is followed by a music interlude then a catchy hook till fade out………….next song same thing blah blah blah. I like the fact that Korn has experimented with there sound. More bands should do that. But along with changing style Korn should change structure as well. I'm getting away from a review here, however, I'd love to see Korn put out a Doom/Stoner or sludge metal album similar to bands like Grief, Eyehategod, Bongzilla, Electric Wizard, Sleep, or Doom/drone music like Sunn O))), Esoteric, Earth or Khanate. Imagine Korn pounding out super fuzzed out distorted riffs that are ultra heavy and ridiculously slow through a wall of earth shaking feedback. Or imagine Korn summoning hellish nightmare invocations from a towering monolith of bass amps. That would be tight.

I heard most of these songs live before the album and i saw pretty much everyone moshing, singing along at the top of their lungs and throwing fists in the air with the same passion and energy, just as hard as they did for any of their earlier songs they played...
its a matter of opinion really.. you dont like it ok...you love it then ok to that too. but how much time do you wanna spend arguing about it on the net?
I got a better idea....spend that time listening to something that you love so much you can feel it through your whole body everytime you listen to it...it will be time better spent cause thats what music is about.

NIN is an awesome Fing group and KoRn is now becoming a real HARD ROCK group. Look for alot more of this hard edge from KoRn because NIN is making a new album this year too. I think this is more a statement of KoRn's new attitude. It has major attitude. I can't get enough of this album. OH and FU to all the lame azz worms that don't like this because of the Matrix.

I believe a lot of people had a preconcieved notion that this album was gonna be bad, there were a lot of factors foreshadowing its release that tainted it before the first beat was even heard. I think people are conditioned to do this, I dont know why. I think its a damned good effort considering the afforementioned factors that haunted its pre-release, one thing about me though is that I hate ALL albums the first time I hear them, regardless of who it is, if I like or love an album the first time around, thats saying something. So initially to me, yes this sucked, but after a year and a half of listening to it, there are some very awesome efforts by these surviving members, and I think the album is a triumph in many aspects. And like all things, there is always room to improve and do better and Korn is no exception here, but I do like this album very much. I think that Korn are trying to evolve, not revolutionize, which I believe a lot of people, fan or no, were expecting. I had no such expections, I was only hoping for thier survival after so many a hurdle lay in their path...and they have brilliantly succeded in my eyes in that aspect.
