Wow! It certainly does suck when a band finally gives up the last bit of their edge and sells out completely. Korn began inching that way with Follow The Leader, and they’ve now completed the transition fully. See You On The Other Side is by far the most tepid, radio-friendly piece of crap this band has ever produced. Maybe it was the turmoil of their new record deal. Maybe it was the loss of Brian “Head Welsh”, or maybe it’s just a cash grab; but whatever the case, Korn has recorded the worst album of their career.…

ok, let me begin by saying the reviewer is right about the album and wrong about the band. there is no one in the world who believes more that a band should experiment with their music, and KoRn has done that probably better than anyone throughout their career. but this is something different. no one is a bigger KoRn fan than me. JD is my god. i worship him. i would die for him, but he just did not do it right on this album, AND THIS ALBUM ONLY. there are 2 types of people in the world...KoRn fans and KoRn haters. the fans are the ones who have stuck with them through good and bad. haters are the ones who say that they were never good, or never original. they have always been original...they created the sound that has permeated through metal for the past decade. even then, they created new sounds when that stuff got old. whatever the case and whoever you are, there is one fact that remains the same...THIS IS THE ONLY AND I MEAN ONLY BAD ALBUM THEY HAVE EVER DONE. the sound they produce hear is not KoRn. there is one problem with the album...virgin records and this "MATRIX" production and writing team that they worked with. JD, fieldy, munky, and david need to dump all these dumb f*cks and get back to basics, because this is not a KoRn album. it is something that, like some one said above me, was done on the fly, without inspiration and focus. they need to find a second guitarist, and write about what they really know...pain, and not politics. that is what KoRn is about, no matter what kind of notes they were playing. that is what is missing more than anything else. more than the dual guitars playing off each other, the pounding drum sound that drove everything, and most of all the lyrics that truly made KoRn one of a kind more that a decade ago. they may be finished, they may not, but whatever happens in the future, nothing can take away from the past. i will love KoRn until my dying day, and then some, even with this album attached with their name.

I gotta say is wow. I love it. Souvenir, Liar, Coming Undone. Thats korn. They reinvented music in the 90's and I think there doing it again. It doesnt have the egde of earlier songs/albums but it sure has elements of them. This album just plays smooth.

i havn't heard the new album but i love korn and i hope it isnt as bad as the posts say but i think you are not korn fans and should shut the hell up korn are amazing and different. i will post when i have heard it because maybee you are correct. i think metalicas st anger is great, just because they havnt quite lived up to there amaxing other songs that doesn't mean that metalica are crap does it. st anger has great songs.

I think this is one of the worst reviews I've ever read in my life!!!! MAybe your're not into metal.. or maybe you rolled out on the wrong side of your bed today. Korn has defined a generation of metal listeners. They were actually the first metal band I listened to and I'm hooked. They are talented, driven and msot f all true to their fans. Infact they have been in rochester, ( a city near where I live) like 5 times in the past month not only promoting their album, they actually were stopping into record stores all over just to meet fans. How many other bands out there do that? Stop whining and change the station or cd...

Same thing has happened to Korn that happens to all sucessfull bands. You are a pissed off teenager. You write from your soul and give it your all. You have nothing so you have nothing to lose. You do it right. Get famous. Get very rich and all the sudden you are not so pissed off anymore. It happened to Metallica. Its now happening to Korn. Its the cycle of all great hardcore bands. Korn will always be great but this album is far from stellar. Its hard to bring the pain when there is no more pain in your life.

Thats a horrible review for such a great album. All the people bithing about Korn's new sound just want them to redo the same style of music every time. Its awesome that Korn experimented and changed their sound so much. I love it. The writer must be unable to hear and comprehend the drumming on this CD becuase this is definately David's best drumming since LIP.

Most Industrial album that korn has produced, with some amazing songs like Seen it all, Coming undone, Liar, Love Song, Throw me away, Tearjerker etc. A must purchase for any korn fan, and for all those people who arent too sure about this album, buy it, listen to it properly and give it a chance. listened to it, and I'm most impressed. I would giv e it a 7/10. Def. not the kind of nu metal we got used to, but the whole metal musical thing is quite unique. Hats off, KoRn, you managed to impress me.
Now, only to get Fieldy back on the line, and Have Davis produce not purely one sound purpose albums. And hats off again for managing to get rid of the anger, sorrow, etc. shit that has been going since the first album. New KoRn = hard rock, and not suckfest. Noone can sing about the whole same shit over 7 albums.
I may consider some of this to get an inspira-tion on our first album. Coming undone...that was a bit from Queen wasn't it?

well, to start off i am not a diehard korn fan. i do like them and have a couple of there albums but i dont think there the GREATEST band ever, i just like there style. Now i have only heard 2 songs off this new album;twisted transistor and liar. There style has definetly changed but from just hearing those 2 songs i think its changed for the better. I mean liar is probably the most kick-ass song ive heard in a while, and if the other songs are the album are anything like that i intended on buying the album. And wats with everybody want every other korn album to be like LIP or Issues? I mean those albums are great but if EVERY korn album was like that alot of people would loose intrest,they would sound repetetive,and people would know what 2 expect. Thats what i like about korn.....you dont know what 2 expect from them, and despite some of the songs being "radio friendly" it doesnt mean there all bad. it just goes to show that korn is growing and evolving, and hey if there style keeps changing, i dont care. i mean if the music and vocals are good, even if there not called korn ill keep listenin!

Grow up cause Korn has as it should be with any group who are real artists trying to improve with every step in their art. I started listening to Korn because my wife liked them a lot and I saw some raw footage of Jonathan Davis in the studio performing and I was impressed how he has so much intensity for his songs and I have seen some recent footage when making his new album and I still see the same intensity.
