CD review: Dan the Banjo Man? Hardly...

Dan the Banjo Man
(AngelAir)

Few words strike terror in the heart of a reviewer like "big in Germany". Not only that but there ain't a banjo anywhere on this heaping pile of manure. These music on this disc is turgid and excruciatingly appalling instrumental music that makes muzak sound good. (At least there is a tune in muzak.) There is little in the way of tunes here and certainly nothing that would qualify as good. Its early 70s fluff soundtrack type stuff at its worse. The even include a god-awful version of 'The Locomotion' as well as few other ghastly covers. Am I being harsh? No this is complete and utter shite.
