Carrie Underwood Artist of the Month on Music Choice

Country-pop songstress Carrie Underwood got her start on the fourth season of American Idol in 2005.

Her first album, Some Hearts, was the fastest selling debut country album in history and eventually achieved multi-platinum status, thanks in no small part to the hit singles “Some Hearts,” “Wasted,” and of course “Inside Your Heaven.” But this little girl from Muskogee, Oklahoma was just getting started.

In October 2007 Underwood set out to prove that she and her success were not just riding on AI’s coattails. With the release of her second album Carnival Ride, that is exactly what she was hoping to prove and it seems to be working.

The album sold more than half a million copies in the first week and so far spawned the hit song “So Small,” the first song to have a co-writing credit for Underwood.

Now the popular on demand music network Music Choice has chosen Underwood as its Artist of the Month for November. For her feature Underwood will be taking fans on a behind-the-scenes tour of the filming of the video for her new single “So Small.” Underwood will host a chronological video tour of her rise to superstardom as well as participating in an unscripted Q&A with fans.
