Westlife star Bryan McFadden has confirmed he is leaving the band to spend more time with his family.The 24-year-old singer told a packed press conference in Dublin that the other members of the band were his four best friends and his departure was nothing to do with them. "I just feel it's the right time to concentrate on my family and being at home as much as I can," he added.
Although the band said they were "devastated" by the news of Bryan's departure, they called it an amicable split and urged fans to support them now more than ever. Bryan's wife Kerry McFadden and bandmate Nicky Byrne's wife Georgina, Irish premier Bertie Ahern's daughter, stood together as Bryan announced his departure.
Since emerging into the pop world five years ago, the band have had a record-breaking 12 number one singles and sold 30 million records. [Ananova]
If your British, Irish, or into British pop music this will mean something to you. Otherwise, It's the equivalent of say Nick Carter quitting the Backstreet Boys.

hello,my advise 4 d westlife(especially bryan)is that he suppose not to leave the westlife alone, cause they would be reducing in population and i think he can still be with his family and at d same time be with the westlife (if he is serious and determined)cause if he is determined to leave the westlife,they can do without him . For d progress of thier songs ithink he should not plan to go.the westlife are nice and i like all their songs so keep it up!!!.

I like westlife but, for a long time, I did n't have more information about Bryan's departure!Some persons in my country (Rwanda)used to say that died but now I know the truth!Really, I say Sorry to the rest of the band and nothing can stop me listen to your music!I finish my message begging Bryan to come back because we love him so much!
