Bruce Sprinsgteen & The E Street Band have announced fall US tour dates, likely the last dates of his tour in support of Working On A Dream, the album he released in January. The tour for Working On A Dream began with a performance at halftime of the Super Bowl in February. Since then, he's played all over the U.S. including a set at Bonnaroo and also headlined the UK's Glastonbury festival.
These dates will take the band all over the east and Midwest, skipping over the west coast. The band will play a five-night set at Giants Stadium, the last time they'll play a venue they've practically owned. There will also be two-night runs in Boston (Mansfield) and Philadelphia. Elsewhere on the tour, they'll hit Nashville, Tampa, St. Louis, Kansas City, Cleveland, Detroit, and Milwaukee.
Tickets for Mansfield, Saratoga Springs, and Giants Stadium are already on sale. One of the Giants Stadium shows is already completely sold out. Other ticket on-sale dates begin Friday, July 24 and progress from there. An on-sale date for the doubles shot at Madison Square Gardens has not been announced.
Let's just go ahead and get the obvious out of the way: Bruce Springsteen is in love with my wife. He played Nashville the day before our anniversary last year. This year, he's playing Nashville on her birthday. It's a sign, my brothers and sisters, a sign. He wants me at that show. He needs me at that show. This will be my third show of the tour. I hoped I'd get a third shot but didn't expect it and didn't expect it to be this easy. Nashville? We're there. Happy birthday, baby! We're going to see The Boss.

And nothing in the northwest. Double damn!

Poor fanbase in Northwest.

Thought of that after doing my happy dance about Nashville, Glen. That's some rotten luck.
