Grokster to stop distributing software. After losing its Supreme Court battle, Grokster Ltd. will stop distributing the software that allows users to copy music via the internet. The Supreme Court found peer to peer file sharing networks to be liable for copyright infringement that took place through their networks.
AMD retail sales beat Intel. Market researcher Current Analysis stated in a report released on today that Advanced Micro Devices outsold Intel in U.S. retail stores in October. Although AMD beat Intel in units sold, it did not beat them in generating revenue.
