Brad Paisley Performs for a Half Million in 2008

Brad Paisley definitely has had a successful year. 2008 is not even over and Brad Paisley has sold over 500,000 seats for his Bonfires and Amplifiers tour and his current Paisley Party tour, CMT reports. He hit 500,000 concert viewers during his stop in St. Paul, Minnesota last Friday, August 22nd. He has performed 56 concerts in 2008 alone. And Brad Paisley isn’t done yet — he’s planning another tour in 2009.

"This number means more to me this year than ever knowing how strapped people are economically these days," says Paisley. "The fact that fans are willing to both buy tickets and the gasoline necessary to come to a show is the ultimate compliment and I am so thankful."

As one of Brad’s ‘partiers,’ I definitely suggest seeing the concert. I saw it earlier this year in Irvine, California as a part of the Paisley Party tour. He was touring with Julianne Hough, Chuck Wicks, and Jewel. He was absolutely amazing, playing hits like “Mud on the Tires,” “Letter to Me,” and “I’m Still a Guy.” He’s such a great performer and I totally want to see him again. I’m glad Brad has made it to 500,000, because his concerts are seriously amazing.

Brad Paisley has had a pretty successful career. The Academy of Country Music awarded him the Top Male Vocalist award in the years 2006 and 2007. The Country Music Association awarded him with Male Vocalist of the Year in 2007. He won a Grammy for Best Country Instrumental Performance ("Throttleneck") this year. Maybe of his songs and albums have won awards too. “He Didn’t Have to Be” and “Online” both won awards for their music videos. “Online” is a great music video. He also has great music videos for songs like “Celebrity” and “Letter to Me.” All music videos are available on his Youtube channel.

Brad’s newest single is “Waitin’ on a Woman.” The music video features Andy Griffith.

There are still many stops left on his Paisley Party tour in stops including Atlanta, Georgia, Houston, Texas and Tampa, Florida. He’s definitely worth seeing, so join the 500,000 people who have already seen him today.
