I assume you're talking about a real pay-through-the-nose under-the-counter bootleg, right?

Since y'all are discussing the new Dylan releases, I thought you might be interested in reading my review of the film. It got bumped by a zillion reviews of Apprentice.

Lono,
the readers should have seen the link to your post 12 comments ago. Make it an actual link if you want them to go to it. A little HTML would go a long way.

Be Warned Clubhouse, the Starbucks release is NOT the bootleg. It has ten songs, all of which are fantastic, but it's faaaar from complete. The bootleg that I have has 17 songs, and the fidelity is comparable.

Well, that sucks. I guess I should read the back of the disc and listen to the whole thing. It's in my other office. I just played it once, and didn't notice the missing songs. Doe asit have "Rocks and Gravel"? I've always liked this performance.

What IS "Rocks and Gravel"? Was that ever officially released? I don't recall that title.

It's a basic blues that I alwasy thought was traditional, but I see that Dylan claims a songwriting credit for it (which doesn't preclude its being trad, actually).
"Takes rocks and gravel to make a solid road
Takes a good woman to satisfy my weary soul."
